ABOUT US.
It all started with a couple of friends who love surfing, nature and adventure came together with a common passion for travel, design and a dream to create a unique Tofitian accommodation experience.
The Shoreline is a boutique oceanfront resort in the heart of Tofino, nestled between old growth cedars, hanging on the edge of the shore. A rich natural landscape surrounds the property which consists of an A-frame house and two A-frame cabins. The Shoreline was originally built in the late 1960's - its architecture are the definition of cabin vibes. Operated as The Mini Motel followed by Tofino Inlet Cottages until fall 2017 when we purchased the property to undertake a revamp, renovations and full rebrand.
The Shoreline brings in inspiration from our travels and passions - where California boho meet PNW cabin vibes. With our modern surf shack cool, the comforts of home, and thoughtful touches we offer an inspiring yet laid back feel.

We are very excited to be partnering with Endy, Canada's leading online mattress brand.
Making sure you have the most comfortable sleeps while you are here with out-of-the-box Canadian-made mattresses and pillows. Anupaya wool blankets can be found at the foot of the bed for extra cozy.

It's not just coffee, it's a lifestyle.
All rooms are equipped with Tofino Coffee Roasting - ethically grown, organic green bean sourced from select coffee growing regions. Locally roasted in small batches right here in Tofino to ensure the freshest coffee rituals.

Surf + Sauna.
All guests have access to our cedar barrel sauna, outdoor shower and surf shed. Rooms are supplied with Slowtide beach towels for use + purchase.
We are fully equipped for your surf, sauna + chill agendas.

Custom Amenities.
We have partnered with The Den Refillery to create our custom amenities with scent profiles inspired by our property. Notes of cedar, citrus and rhododendron fill the air.
These ocean-friendly, refillable and biodegradable products are available for in room use and purchase.
